SOUTHERN TYRES WHOLESALE INCREASE PROFITABILITY WITH TYREMAN
As Office and Accounts Manager with Southern Tyre Wholesalers (STW) Leo Hall was happy to announce a ten percent increase in sales since the STW move to Tyreman Version 12 system with integrated B2B solution allowing them to sell tyres on-line.
STW pride themselves in giving their customers a quality, personal service with a positive response to any enquiry, and when evaluating which software to use they didn’t want to sacrifice this in any way.
Even though STW had worked with Tyreman, a leader in software solutions to the tyre industry, for many years they did their homework before deciding on a upgrade, and after careful consideration they found that other systems on the market were not as user friendly.
Tyreman V12 provides solutions to wide variety of business requirements and most importantly according to Leo “for us as a customer, we found that Tyreman had listened to and addressed our needs. To this day there have been no regrets and the benefits of the new system are numerous”.
In fact, prior to upgrading, STW were looking to employ another sales person. However with the business efficiencies made since the upgrade that expense has been spared.
Would you trust your neighbour to look after your crown jewels? This is effectively what was asked of STW by Tyreman when they took their server off-site. Armed with the knowledge that a hosted solution was not only secure, but also mirrored and backed up to within 10 minutes of the latest transactions, STW went ahead with confidence and upgraded their system in March 2010. Leo admits it took a little time to get used to “like most companies there are a number of traditionalists working here, but our relationship with Tyreman is built on trust and we were convinced it was the right move”.
Tyreman V12 has many new and innovative standard features, and since upgrading STW continues to see a growth in turnover and profit. Recently they have given their customers access to the Tyreman ‘Tyre Portal’ web site which allows them to retrieve copy invoices and statements on-line, bringing yet further savings to STW.
As far as the future, STW continue to look to Tyreman for their IT solutions and see EDIWHEEL as one possible area. With Tyreman having 15 years experience with EDI solutions they know their requirements are in capable hands.
After less than 6 months operating the Tyreman V12, STW are enjoying the many benefits, Leo of STW states happily that “Tyreman V12 is doing exactly what we require and more plus the support service provided by them is excellent”.
